LAUREN TOLFA
BIO
I am a passionate and skilled video editor based in Seattle, WA, with a strong background in documentary, narrative, and branded content. After earning a bachelor's degree in Business and Music from the University of Puget Sound in 2013, I decided to pursue a longtime interest in film and returned to school. As a kid, I spent time on film sets in Los Angeles, occasionally working as an extra alongside my grandparents, who were active in the local film scene. Those early experiences sparked a lasting curiosity about storytelling and the creative process. In 2019, I completed a post-production certificate at Colorado Film School, where I developed my technical skills and deepened my understanding of visual storytelling.
One of my most recent achievements was co-directing, producing, and editing Sean & The Ramblings of a Sculpture Artist alongside Felicia Hettinga—a short documentary that was an official selection at the 2022 Newport Beach Film Festival and the Oscar-qualifying 2023 Aspen Shortsfest.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned studios and organizations, including AXS TV and Sender Films, where I contributed as a post-production intern on the award-winning feature documentary The Alpinist.
For three years, I worked as an editor at Milkhaus, an award-winning production company, where I contributed to projects such as:

High Science | Reality TV show | Editor

Hallmark’s Happy Camper | Narrative Feature | Assistant Editor
